Dog friendly screening of 'Heart of a Dog'
Picturehouse Central hosted a fantastic screening event of Heart of a Dog where they invited dogs into the cinema to join in on the fun! A total of 50 dogs were greeted with a doggy red carpet, a photobooth and doggy popcorn.
Laurie Anderson joined thwe dogs and their friends before the screening for a special introductory Q&A. 'I know it's silly' she said as she thanked the audience for attending and making this event happen. All eyes were on the screen as the dogwoof logo came up (and we had some giggles at the fitting name!) It was an absolutely brilliant evening, check out the video below.
Celebrating women with 'Speed Sisters'
The Pictures and elevenfiftyfive celebrated bold and fearless women tear up the tracks in the middle east. On 10th March, elevenfiftyfive hosted a preview of Speed Sisters at The Pictures. The film was followed by a Q&A with director Amber Fares and Speed Sisters manager Maysoon Jayyusi.
Just like the previous trips to The Pictures, the success of the event was guaranteed by free drinks, delicious Palestinian street food and great music. #ThePictures
Royal Albert Hall presents 'Janis:Little Girl Blue'
We partnered with Royal Albert Hall on JANIS: LITTLE GIRL BLUE screening with post-show talk on Janis Joplin. The screening at the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room was followed by a talk on Janis Joplin hosted by Oscar-winning producer Mia Bays and including award-winning sound and visual artist Andrea Byrne and acclaimed film critic Anna Smith.

'Chasing Ice' screening at Virgin Headquaters
Virgin screened Dogwoof's award-winning documentary CHASING ICE, which depicts acclaimed environmental photographer James Balog trying to deliver evidence and hope to our carbon-powered planet.
The event was hosted at Virgin Headquaters in conjunction with a talk by Australian environmentalist Tim Flannery, one of the world’s leading expert, to talk about climate change and the prospect of the Paris COP to deliver the bold climate agreement the world needs now.
Virgin occasionally organises staff screenings of documentary films that connect to the issues they are passionate about.
'Dogwoof Film Series' at House of Vans
We've partnered with House of Vans, a London-based venue embracing and fuelling creative expression through art, music, skateboarding, BMX, street culture and fashion.
As the physical manifestation of the culture and creativity that have defined the Vans brand since 1966, the space offers a solid platform for the local communities to experience and engage with Vans’ ‘Off The Wall’ spirit.
'Dogwoof Film Series' at House of Vans has been presented FRESH DRESSED, NAS: TIME IS ILLMATIC and JANIS: LITTLE GIRLS BLUE. As part of Girls Month, documentary powerhouse Dogwoof and House of Vans have joined forces to organise an exclusive pre-release screening of ground breaking documentary SPEED SISTERS with film director Amber Fares and team manager Maysoon Jayyusi who will be introducing the film and host a Q&A before the screening.
The History of Fresh weekend with a preview of 'Fresh Dressed'Four amazing events were held over two incredible days with the entertainment agency We Are Parable. The History of Fresh weekender celebrated and chronicled hip hop and street fashion, starting with a preview screening of the highly anticipated streetwear documentary FRESH DRESSED. The fun continued with a panel discussion, a fashion show and a Dressed Up party.

‘Iris’ UK launch event with Annabel's and Mission PR - 2015 July
Toasted by the premiere screening at Curzon Mayfair and intimate dinner at Annabel's, London fashion welcomes Iris Apfel in town! More than a fashion film, the documentary IRIS is a story about creativity and how a soaring free spirit continues to inspire. Annabel’s, one of the most elegant clubs in the world, has a global reputation in first-class entertainment so partnering with Dogwoof on the official UK premiere was a natural move. Annabel's led the high-end fashion guests and their members into a world of elegance and style with this exclusive program.
'Dior and I' premiere event with DIOR - 2015 April
Fashion's elite descended upon Curzon Mayfair in London for the premiere of DIOR AND I. The grey carpet was rolled out for the celebration, hosted by Dior, which was attended by director Frédéric Tcheng, as well as several prominent characters featured in the film. Dior designer, and Raf Simon's right-hand-man, Pieter Mulier; Madame Catherine Riviere, director of Dior Haute Couture, and Monique Bailly, head of the atelier, all made an appearance to see their turn on the big screen.

J.Crew was keen on creating a unique customer experience for their top clients and partners so they partnered with Dogwoof and hosted a Q&A with the wonderful Iris Apfel, moderated by Caroline Issa at J.Crew Regent Street. Prior to the talk IRIS was screened exclusively to the guests at the newly opened Picturehouse Central ahead of the official release date.
